Rooms need better lighting to avoid hiding dirt!!! Freshening up the bathrooms would definitely help!!!

The location by the lake is lovely and peaceful.

My experience at D'Arbonne Lake Motel was incredibly disappointing. Upon entering the room, I was horrified to find dirt on the floor and walls, clearly showing that it had not been cleaned properly. Additionally, I encountered insects crawling around, which is certainly not what I expected during my stay.

Man, the beds was mad comfy! Chill spot right by the lake, and the views was dope. I ain't gonna lie. the fridge was clean and cold, but that microwave coulda used an upgrade. The staff was real nice too, made me feel at home. That shower-tub combo was alright, just wish I had a hook for my clothes, ya feel me?

The room was clean and had great water pressure. The pool was well-kept and perfect for a leisurely swim on a hot day. We enjoyed peaceful views of the lake that added to the overall experience.

Room cleanliness was severely lacking, with visible dirt and stains on sheets that raised serious concerns. Bugs, including an earwig and a centipede, added to the unsettling experience. I felt the need to capture photos as evidence. The location by the water provided a serene environment, and while I appreciated having fresh pasta options, the overall condition of the room overshadowed any positive aspects.

the bathroom could use a little sprucing up (the toilet area was not super clean) but the beds were really comfy and the AC kept the room nice and cool (made it easy to sleep). plus, i liked the sliding door that opened right to the yard, great for my dog.

Can just recommend for a weekend adventure

Comfortable beds, clean facilities, great views of the lake made my stay delightful, and I enjoyed the fitness center which helped me stay active during my visit while the nearby airport made travel convenient.

But, there were no clocks or phones in the room, which was kind of surprising. Had to ask for a phone at the front desk, and they said they didn't have many working ones. Free WiFi was a bit spotty too, but overall it wasn't the worst stay.
